Wacom's Inkling product consists of two basic hardware components - the Inkling digital pen and the Inkling Receiver. Inkling Sketch Manager is included in Inkling Receiver. The Receiver can be connected to any USB port on your Windows PC and will work as a standard USB flash dive. Once connected, Sketch Manager can be easily installed by opening the Receiver Icon that will appear on your desktop, then navigating to the installation folder that appears in it and running the SETUP.EXE file found there. Alternately, one can download the Windows installer file mentioned on this page from Wacom's website and run it. The latter install option is recommended if the former fails and/or in case there were error/warning messages during the install. Inkling Sketch Manager is a software application that enables you to view, organize and prepare your sketches before exporting and editing them in your favorite applications like Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, AutoDesk SketchBook Pro, AutoDesk SketchBook Designer and so on. Inkling Receiver can digitally store hundreds of multiple-layer sketches you create using the Inkling digital pen. Refer to the Inkling 'User's Manual for Windows & Macintosh' for further details about set up and use of Sketch Manager. Inkling Sketch Manager works on Win-XP (32-bit&64-bit),Vista and 7. The installers are different for 32-bit and 64-bit Windows versions.
It is designed for the creation, editing and management of arbitrary waveforms.
